Week 79 August 4 - 10, 2014

We were very excited to look in our mail box and see a package.  This never happens, and it was cookies from Cierra, they tasted wonderful.  Hurry now and make us joyous before we are home and it will cost so much less.  Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Cierra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The International Center is remodeling their reception area.  Stay posted to see what it will look, we understand there will be a restaurant.

Friday night the wind blew very hard, as the Typhoon was coming.  The biggest damage we saw was a section of the bicycle parking area roof.  A few small branches was all we saw other wise.  It tracked to the east of Kyushu island we are on.

On our way to Fukuoka for Temple service and picking up Weston.  The clouds show some of the banding of the rotating clouds of the Typhoon.

We went to Costco and got back to the airport to meet Weston.  We took him out to Dinner at a Nan Curry restaurant in Fukuoka.  Complete with Lassie drink.

We had a wonderful Sunday and Dinner with Weston, Akemi at our apartment.  We now look forward to a fun filled week with Weston.
